Hello everybody hows it going?

Now the reason I’m posting today is to instruct my readers on how to write a book for the little ones.

In a childrens book their are 6 main branches. These are things you should do when writing about these branches.

1. Theme

When writing about the theme of a story don’t yell it out. This means if the theme of your story is sad don’t write,”This story is sad”. Let the theme come out through dialog but not through narration.

Another thing you must do, especially in childrensĀ  books are to always make your theme positive. For example this is a big NO NO: “then little Timmy’s bunny was eaten by a rabid cow. The End” this is not positive…….

2. Plot

When writing the plot move it forward with events and actions and also it may be a good idea to add a conflict to keep the readers attention.

3.Story Structure

At the beggening jum into the action.

At the end bring the story to a close.

4.Characters

Know your own characters.

Your main character should be someone people can relate to.

5.Setting

Set your story in a place that will be familiar or interesting.

6.Style and Tone

Write simply.

Use direct quotes.
