I can’t think of anything for this week’s post. I blew the last one off so now I’m going to write this one, for this week. Lets see, what to write, what to write….frankly i can’t think of anything. My last post on a book i read was good. I think because i could actually enjoy writing about it. Maybe i shouldn’t write today, and blow off another post, but obviously because your reading this i haven’t.

Over the weekend my younger cousins came to visit. That was fun, my younger cousin had just turned 5 so we threw her a small party. Then we went to the zoo….which was boring. And today i have to go to the orthodontist….fun. Okay, one and a half more paragraphs…lets see. What else have i done? Oh, i got into a jazz camp..good for me….aaaaaaaand……I’m going to do swimming this summer.

Their that’s better, only another paragraph. Hmmm…..let me think whats another subject that i could talk (type?) about. Lets see here………….Nope no ideas. Well okay, three more sentences….oh i know! Its raining. Alot. And….it smells like leaves outside. And…..what else? Its also….dusty. And…..my allergies are bad. And….hey that’s my third paragraph! okay well I’ll talk (type?) to whoever is listening(reading?) this on my next post. Hopefully I’ll have an idea then.

For this week, I’ve decided to tell anyone reading this about a book i just finished reading. However, this book was easily one of the most intense book I’ve every read. I repeat; this is not an easy book to read, you can’t put this book down and it might even make you cry. This book, as you can see from the title is called “Thirteen Reasons Why” and is written by Jay Asher. The book is narrated thorough a high school boy named Clay Jensen, and also by a girl named Hannah Baker. Hannah, who was Clay’s first love has recently committed suicide. One day Clay goes home to find a package on his porch. Clay opens the package to find tapes. He pops a tap in, only to hear a chilling voice that he hasn’t heard for two weeks. The tapes  are Hannah’s suicide tapes.

Hannah speaks to Clay telling him that on these tapes their are thirteen people that are responsible for her death Thirteen Reasons Why. Clay finds, to his surprise that the reason he got these tapes is that he is one of the reasons. Clay also finds a map that shows points where these things happened. For the next twelve hours Clay is guided by the dead girls voice. Living the last moments of her life. Clay is shocked at everything he hears, as he listens to the events and people that where the cause of Hannah’s death.

Although this book sounds like a morbid and twisted book, and believe me it is,  it was a great story, and it had some pretty harsh lessons. Also I’ll say this again; this is one of the more heart wrenching and intense book I’ve ever read. Also their are mature themes that some readers might not be able to handle.  However i would totally recommend this book and i think that you’ll enjoy it.
